Hey! I’m Ashton Soliz — aka @TheCrowsInkwell

I have had a deep passion for art for as long as I can remember, It has always held such a dear place in my heart and I can’t imagine my life without it! In school growing up I would doodle on everything—Including myself. I remember once a teacher made a comment about how I should go into tattooing. I always admired tattooing from a distance, and fast forward to December 27th of 2024, I did my first tattoo on skin and instantly fell in love with the craft.

I am currently a tattoo apprentice at Afterlife Oddities & Tattoos in Columbus, Ohio. I’m especially drawn to neo-traditional work, bold lines, rich color, and timeless style—but I’m always open to exploring different aesthetics and expanding my skill set!

Outside of tattooing, you can usually find me gaming, hunting for antiques, or hanging out with my cats!
